In the context of the banking and finance industry in Ho Chi Minh City witnessing continuous development, participating in internship programs at banks not only allows students to access real working environments but also opens up numerous opportunities for learning and networking with experienced professionals and employees in the field. Recently, on the morning and afternoon of November 25, 2023, the Banking Faculty Association collaborated with Shinhan Bank Vietnam to organize a student internship program at the District 11 branch in Ho Chi Minh City.
This internship program allowed students to visit and experience Shinhan Bank's facilities and direct services. Students also gained additional valuable experience and specific insights into the operational models and job functions in various bank departments.
Moreover, participating in internships also creates opportunities for building professional networks within the industry. Students can establish connections with experienced individuals, experts, and bank employees, thereby receiving support, advice, and future job opportunities. Internship programs also help enhance soft skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving - essential skills for a banking career.
