- "Developing technology financial services (Fintech) in Banking operation: Legal framework and issues" (Dr. Vien The Giang, Faculty of Law, Economics University of Ho Chi Minh City)
- "Banking and financial services under impact of the Industrial Revolution 4.0" (Mr. Le Tan Phuoc - CEO - EPM Technology Joint Stock Company) and,
- "The importance of Data in Banking risk management" (Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Tho, Director of Risk Management Consulting, Deloitte Vietnam).
Discussion
Researchers, lecturers and students have actively discussed on topics related to Banking operation in context of birth and development of Fintech companies, impact of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 on financial system, Banks and the role of virtual currencies for Banking operations. At the same time, there are many discussions on outstanding issues over the past time such as the law of the State Bank, securing customer information in the context of Bank's technical infrastructure, virtual money and views of a nations, how to train at university to suit in new context ...
Workshop conclusion:
1. Draw three research issues focused from the workshop is about Fintech organizations, State management for Fintech operations and organizations; technical ideas for information technology, information security, big data on customers, virtual money ...
2. Emphasizing the promotion of research, putting above contents into teaching in a modern context.
3. Continue to implement the following research directions on the content of seminar to students, thereby enhancing scientific research activities in students.
